Time marches on, and the overall rises, and falls, of the collective crypto market cap, continues to reward winners, and losers. And it’s often at times like this, that many crypto holders, can start to feel the pronounced pains of missing out, especially when they feel, they have not taken a market position, in some of the currently bullish crypto’s, this feeling is probably significantly more pronounced amongst some EOS main-net holders. It is in times like this, that it becomes important to have proper perspective, on the true value of things, rather than chasing the next highs, after they have already mooned.

I find it is often necessary, to assess matters from a more logical standpoint, as the saying goes, “the city of Rome wasn’t built in a day.” And, in the same way, many of the metaphorical financial seeds, that we have collectively planted, will not be ready to harvest, until they have reached the point of maturity. And so, I find while waiting on the metaphorical financial harvest, it’s often best to examine other opportunities.

So, this time I decided to focus on, the often overlooked, and undervalued projects, of the EOS IO ecosphere, in this article/video, I will give you, my top five favorite EOS IO Token projects, that I am personally holding, for mid, to long term positions, defining, mid to long term, as 5 to 10 years. First off, I am not a financial advisor, and this is not financial advice, I am simply one crypto holder, sharing my personal crypto investment strategy.

OK now, let me first define my methodology, I do not consider myself a crypto trader, I see myself as a crypto investor. Which for me means, I do not invest in crypto’s, that I do not intend on holding for periods of at least, five to ten years. Often, I buy in, overtime slowly, using the tried-and-true method of, DCA, also known as, dollar cost averaging, until I have reached my allocation goals. Once I’ve reached my goals, and my investment principle has matured 5 to 10 years. I begin the harvesting process, of liquidating up to 10% annually. Applying this method gives one the ability to extract original principle, as well as the ability to continue to stay position, for potentially future financial growth. This is not a strategy for the impatient, and I find it interesting, that so many people seek to get rich quickly, often at the cost of, taking great risk, and missing significant opportunities, in the process. My methodology is more for those that seek to grow wealthy steadily.

It was nearly ten years ago, when I first heard about Bitcoin, and now as I approach the age of 40, I have often thought to myself, if I had applied this strategy earlier, how far ahead would I have been, in financial terms. Instead of trying to capitalize on short term financial gains, at the cost of significant opportunity loss, simply because I did not have a long enough perspective, at that time. So, in a way I am writing this article so that my readership/viewers can learn from my mistakes, and benefit from it, by developing a longer perspective, as the saying goes, “often with age, comes wisdom”. OK now let’s get started.

#5 Vigor: I consider vigor in the mid-tier, of EOS defi projects, I think its commendable for what they are trying to accomplish, by being a community driven crypto collateral lender, this project is a bit of a risk, depending on, which token one holds, whether it is the low volatility token of vigor, which is a bit like a stable-coin, or Vig-tokens. I believe vigor does have significant possibilities, and the ability to lend a variety of tokens such as PBTC, EOS, IQ, and USDT. Certainly, gives it significant variety, though it remains to be seen if this project has staying power, but for me it is certainly worth taking a calculated risk.

#4 P-tokens: P-token project is fast becoming the clear-cut EOS community crypto derivative choice, for Cryptos that trade on EOS main-net, with their obvious community favorite of PBTC. EOS main-net users now have the readily available ability to hold Bitcoin, and other cryptocurrencies, without ever having to leave the convenience, of the EOS IO user experience, and with new crypto tokens being integrated monthly, from all over the greater crypto ecosphere, this project is truly bringing the dream of an EOS main-net crypto derivative HUB, to life.

#3 Telos: Telos to me is one of the most under rated sister-chains, within the EOS-IO ecosphere, many of the original EOS community members migrated over to Telos, when it became clear that EOS main-net was taking a different path then originally conceived. What I find, that is mostly overlooked, by many community members, is that most Genesis EOS holders, hold both main-net, and Telos tokens, and many of the block producers, for EOS main-net and Telos, or one in the same. There’s significant synergy between the EOS main-net community, and Telos. I personally see the Telos development community, as one of the main incubators of the EOS-IO ecosphere, trailblazing interesting new ideas like, T-bond NFT’s. And I would say that the Telos development community, is most certainly innovating in the right direction, and there bringing significant value to the entire EOS-IO ecosphere.

#2 Defi-Box: Defi-box is most certainly one of my favorite projects, giving all sorts of token projects an easy, and streamline way to create liquidity, completely driven by community investment, unlike exchanges, fees are generally kept pretty low, depending on how many tokens, someone is swapping at any given time, and with the addition of the box token, savings account system, as well as being able to mine box tokens as a means of a financial incentive, for adding your crypto liquidity to a variety of token pools, this is most certainly one project to keep your eye on, in the coming years.

#1 Liquid-Apps: Liquid apps is what I consider in the top tier of EOS-IO projects, I personally was investing, in Dapp token from day one, with an All-Star development team like, Beni Hakak, Tal Muskal, Zack Gall, Peter Keay, and Nathan Rempel, and others. It was clear almost from the start that this project was going places, and since launch, they have consistently put out greatest hits, after greatest hits, after greatest hits. For example, DSP innovations like, V-ram, V-cpu, Liquid-Oracles, Liquid-Accounts, and finally, one of the most significant, and possibly there most underrated future service, Liquid-Bridge.

Which for me, is the one service that I am most excited about, the potential to tap into the financial capital pools of the Ethereum network, cannot be overrated, and this service potentially has the possibility, of injecting much needed financial liquidity, into the EOS main-net token economy.
It’s really amazing to me, how this team has continued to develop significant innovations, despite not having anywhere near the budget of larger development teams, like block-one. This project is like, if Ethereum’s Chain-link, and EOS main-net, had a love child, the-end-result would be, Liquid-Apps. If You’re in the EOS main-net community, and you are not holding dapp-token, your doing-it-wrong.

To all EOS holders, make the most of your opportunities.
